Use Audience Tags to manage your Audience

Read our overview into what Audience Tags make possible within Searchie Hub

🧰 What You Will Need

  1. A Searchie Hub

  2. Audience members

What can I use this for?

Audience Tags allow you to organize and manage your Audience. You can also use Audience Tags to control content visibility by using Audience Tags as Segment filters.

Audience Tags should not be confused with File Tags, as both are used for different reasons inside of Searchie. Audience Tags are used to manage Audiences, whereas File Tags are used to manage media files.

If you want to attach the same Audience Tag to a large number of people, you can use the mass import tool or bulk actions inside the Audiences tab to tag multiple people in one go.

Step 1 - Open Audience Profile

Head to the Audience tab of your Searchie account.

Find and open an Audience Profile you want to add an Audience Tag to and click Person Details to expand the profile. You can use your own email here.

From here, click Profile to edit the basic information.

Step 2 - Create or add Audience Tag(s)

Inside the selected Audience Profile, type in an existing or new tag name under the Add Audience Tags dropdown menu. There is no limit on the number of Audience Tags that you can add.

If you're adding a new Audience Tag, click "Add [TAG NAME]" once you're done typing in your Audience Tag name.

Once you've added in all Audience Tags, click Save to save your progress. You can revisit this Audience Profile to adjust the tags at any time.

Step 3 - Create Segment(s) using your Audience Tag(s)

If you're looking to use your Audience Tags to control content visibility, you can now use your Audience Tags as Segment filters.

Step 4 - Editing or deleting Audience Tags

If you ever need to rename or delete an Audience tag, you can do so on your Data page.
