Drip Content using Segments

Drip content to your Audience members based on their Hub Registration Date

🧰 What You Will Need

  1. A Searchie Account

  2. Searchie Audience Members

  3. Understanding of Segments

  4. A Private Searchie Hub

What can I use this for?

Segmenting your Audience by a Segment condition called Relative Registration Date (i.e. "Less Than", "Exactly", and "More Than") gives you the ability to filter your Audience based on a custom time frame, measured in days. This makes it possible to segment and drip your Hub sections and content based on how long they've been in your Hub. πŸ’ͺ

NOTE: This condition now uses calendar dates rather than exact timestamps to segment audience members.

Step 1 - Selecting Audience Segment conditions

Navigate to the Audiences tab, start filtering your Audience by Hub Audience, and then select the desired Hub.

For this example, choose Registered then More Than, and enter the preferred number of days.

Filter Audience

πŸ’‘For Example

Registered More Than 7 days ago - Content will be available after Week 1
Registered More Than 14 days ago - Content will be available after Week 2

Step 2 - Track and control Hub content access

With your Segment created, it can now be used to control who has access to a specific Hub section. When your section is ready, set the Visibility of one (or more) Hub sections with your Segment. This means that only members who meet the conditions of that Segment will be able to see that section. πŸ€“
