What You Will Need

  1. A Stripe account set up with Products and Prices

  2. A Searchie Hub to sell

NOTE: If you're using a payment processor other than Stripe, check out our article on how to connect your shopping cart using Zapier.

Step 1 - Add Stripe Payment Gateway

Connect your Stripe account to your Searchie account via the Payment Gateways page inside your Searchie account.

If you don't see the Payment Gateway page in your account, reach out to our support team at [email protected] and we can add it in for you.

Step 2 - Set your Searchie Hub to Private

Restrict access to your Searchie Hub by setting it to Private. This will allow you to control Hub access and only assign this access to members who pay to access the Hub. Navigate to your Hub, and from the main menu, open the "Privacy" menu and toggle "Private" on.

Step 3 - Enable Registration

From the main menu of your Searchie Hub, open the "Audiences" menu and toggle on "Enable Registration". This will allow you to collect the emails your members that will grant them access to the content that they have purchased.

Step 4 - Enable Payments and Customer Portal

From the main menu of your Searchie Hub, open the "Payments" menu and toggle on "Enable Payments" and "Enable Customer Portal". Then, click on "Customize Plans/Products" to add your payment plants into this Searchie Hub.

Step 5 - Add Products and Prices

To add in the prices that you created inside your Stripe account, find and select the correct prices in the list and then click "Add Product/Price" to add it to your Hub Payment page.

Add the rest of your prices if you have more than one payment option for the Hub. Once you’ve added all the prices, click "Save" at the bottom of the screen.

Step 6 - Share with your audience

Once you’ve added in all the prices that you want your audience to have access to, you’re done! To share your checkout page, select the "Payment page" on the lower Hub menu and click the URL (the link icon).

Step 7 - Turn off Registration when cart closes

If you close your cart and stop accepting new customers for Hub access, you will want to turn off Registration to lock your members' list. From the main menu of your Searchie Hub, open the "Audiences" menu and toggle off "Enable Registration". Be sure to keep Payments enabled as shown in Step 4 so any active payments are not affected by the closing of cart.

What You Can Do Now

  1. View the payment process your members will go through

  2. Use Segments to manage audience subscriptions

  3. Add a Hub onboarding sequence for your audience
